A 5-Star Review From an Atlas Windows and Doors Neighbor
We frequently earn rave reviews for the quality of our windows and doors, and this is very gratifying to us, because we really do make every effort to provide the best possible products to our California neighbors. Every once in a while, we even get a review which perfectly exemplifies what we’re trying to achieve with a specific product, and we recently received one of these from Nicole F. of Temecula, CA. Nicole purchased a sliding glass door from us to replace her older one, which had seen better days. She was also trying to establish a better weather seal, so she wouldn’t feel drafts around the door when she had it closed for the day. Here are some of her remarks on Yelp:

I had called Lowe’s and Home Depot prior to checking in with Atlas, and I was pretty disappointed with what they had to offer. For even the lowest quality sliders they stock, it was still more expensive, at least $500 more. So I decided to try Atlas since they carried a better door brand, and I thought that since there’s no middle man involved, it should mean a better labor rate.
Everything about the installation of my new sliding door was a top-notch professional experience. From the estimate appointment right up to the day of installation, everything was done professionally and courteously. The Atlas folks were excellent about scheduling and timeliness, and the installer walked us through everything so we could understand the process, and he was finished well within the time frame he originally estimated. He also left my house immaculate when all the work had been completed.
I did experience a minor hiccup about a month later. Apparently we slammed the door too hard, and we managed to push it up off the track. I couldn’t tell exactly what had happened just from looking at it, but we called the Atlas people and they told us that the warranty would cover any necessary repairs. Their representative came out to my home and explained what had probably happened, then he added an extra bumper and showed us how the door might be pushed off the track, and how we could put it right back on.
It slides so smoothly, I’m sure that one of my family members probably slammed it without thinking, and knocked it off the track. We know that the old slider was junk and was in a sad state of repair, and that’s one of the reasons we decided to get a replacement in the first place. We would always have to really strong-arm it and push hard to get it open. Now we have an awesome, attractive sliding door which works perfectly, and it also comes with an amazing warranty! I literally couldn’t be happier with my new Atlas sliding door!
